Lotus's new Exige is a much needed improvement over the old one. They revamped much about the car, including the styling and overall performance. The series 2 Exige had a 1.8L 4-cylinder supercharged engine that could produce around 190hp, while the new Exige has a 3.5L V6 supercharged engine that puts out 345hp. Its overall top speed is 170mph, 15mph faster than the old one. Its handling even feels a little smoother.
So, what do I think of it?
My Rating: 8.5/10
Man, this car is awesome. To me, it feels a little like the Porsche 911 Carrera from NFS Most Wanted. It doesn't have a very good top speed, but it's acceleration is perfect. In a half-mile drag race, this car could probably dominate most cars of a similar class. Still, in a mile-long drag race, it would probably lose to most other cars because of its low top speed. However, the best thing about this car is its grip. It launches with very little wheelspin, giving it an advantage over most other cars. Of course, this makes it great in corners. Overall, I think this is one of my favorite road cars in Forza Horizon.
